The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from the facility. Coordinate all patient travel via plane, train or automobile. Works closely with department managers to ensure travel arrangements are met with a positive experience. Manage and coordinate a PRN driver pool ensuring coverage is provided when needed. Assist as Direct Care Staff when needed/available.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences Required:
Education:Must have a high school diploma or GED. Able to multi task, competent computer skills, clean MVR.
Experience: Previous Service Coordinator and/or managerial experience preferred.Previous experience preferred but not required, with emphasis on customer service and patient interaction and care. Must have completed Crisis Intervention training or attend training within first month of employment.
