Cedar Crest accepts direct admissions from a variety of referral sources in the community. Our Intake staff is standing by around the clock to pre-screen the direct admissions, consult with our physicians, verify the insurance benefits for you, and, as needed, arrange for transport for inpatient admissions at no additional cost to the patient. Our staff will be able to discuss our programs with you so you can determine whether what we offer is the best fit for your patient. You can also obtain additional information in order to present your recommendations for the referral to you patient.
If it is determined that our treatment center is appropriate for your patient, once the appropriate level of care is determined we will begin the treatment process immediately. We are here to meet your needs and those of your patients, so please feel free to contact our knowledgeable staff with any questions or concerns.
Providers can also help a client access treatment by having them call our intake/admissions department independently. You can inform patients that they can even walk into our facility to schedule a free confidential evaluation with one of our mental health professionals at any time.
Our Admission Staff at Cedar Crest does everything they can to make the referral process as smooth and easy as possible. We value all of our referral sources and understand how much you care about your patients. It is important to us not only to provide the best available care for your patients, but to regularly communicate with you to provide you with updates on your patient’s progress within the bounds of confidentiality. We are also aware that you know your patient’s far better than we do when they arrive, and will request whatever information with which you can provide us that will better help us meet the needs of each individual referred to us. It is our objective to work hand in hand with you to help your patients get back on track so they can regain hope for a positive future.
