Cedar Crest: Services and Programs - Dual Diagnosis
RECLAIM Chemical Dependency Treatment Program
This program seeks to reclaim youth from their harmful dependency
on alcohol and other mood altering drugs.
 |
ELIGIBILITY PROFILE:
- Adolescent males and females between the ages of 12 and 17
- Maladaptive pattern of substance use that affects their ability
to function with peers, family and in school
- Significant dependence upon substances with severely impaired
daily functioning
|
RECLAIM is an eclectic blend of research-based work designed
to have sufficient variety to keep the attention of sophisticated adolescents
- the adolescents with "street smarts" beyond their chronological
age and stage of development. RECLAIM employs the work of various experts
on cognitive behavioral therapy and relapse prevention, allowing our
patients to develop their own personal recovery program to aid them upon
