Children’s Inpatient Treatment Program in Belton, TX

At Cedar Crest Hospital & Residential Treatment Center, located in Belton, Texas, our inpatient children’s treatment program has been specifically designed to meet the needs of children ages 5 to 12. We understand that childhood is a time of much transition, growth, and sometimes, turmoil. Children today face a number of challenges and pressures and even young children may feel emotions that may overwhelm and cripple their emotional growth. Cedar Crest offers free, confidential assessments performed by a licensed clinician 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our children’s treatment program focuses upon the behavioral and emotional needs of young children and preteens. A serene, calm, secure inpatient environment designed with the needs of children in mind is the ideal place for an overwhelmed child in need of immediate care. We have a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, therapists, and psychiatrists in this treatment program who will carefully assess your child, work with you and your child to create an individualized plan of care, and help restore your child to his or her maximum level of functioning. We’ll help your child return to his or her school and home environment after spending time in our treatment program with improved ways of coping, new conflict resolution skills, and increased feelings of self-worth.
