Children’s Inpatient Treatment

At Cedar Crest Hospital and Residential Treatment Center, our inpatient children’s program has been specifically designed to meet the needs of children ages 5 to 12. We understand that childhood is a time of much transition, growth, and sometimes, turmoil. Children today face a number of challenges and pressures and even young children may feel emotions that may overwhelm and cripple their emotional growth. Cedar Crest offers free, confidential assessments performed by a licensed clinician 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you believe your child is struggling with a mental health disorder, please give us a call. We offer inpatient treatment services for children who may be experiencing the following:

  • Suicidal or homicidal thoughts or attempts
  • Anxiety disorders
