Chief Operating Officer
Monica Gauna has twenty years of experience in the field of mental health and has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Cedar Crest Hospital & RTC since May 2021. She is a licensed counselor and has worked in various mental health leadership roles, including Intake Director, Director of Clinical Services, and Director of Performance Improvement and Risk Management. Monica has a proven track record in managing successful CMS, TJC, and state surveys. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, a Master’s degree from Bowie State University, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
